About Jt Aaron

I like to consider myself an Engineer. I began my career leading combat engineers across Europe and engaging foreign dignitaries in the Middle East, then transitioned to managing K–12 school renovations and designing digital systems that make complex information legible to the people who need it. Three and a half years living in Germany clarified something for me as a professional. I watched what public infrastructure looks like when it works: transit that runs, waste systems that close the loop, communities that genuinely trust the institutions meant to serve them. The contrast between what I saw abroad and what I returned to stateside is impossible to ignore. Civic disengagement isn’t a values problem; it’s an information problem. Now, I’ve decided to dedicate my work to building a more sustainable future. Outside my professional work, I build toward collective action. The goal in my work has always been the same: make the tradeoffs visible, make the data honest, make it actionable. I believe that when ordinary people have clear, auditable information about how systems affect their lives, better decisions follow, and better communities emerge from those decisions. That’s what I hope to achieve.
