I\'m a system architect with 25 years experience in building trading systems for a variety of global asset classes, ML and data platforms for financial models and research, and financial optimization frameworks. I strive to build systems that are simple to use, understand, and deploy, while still providing the best performance current computer architectures can provide. I’m also a proud founding member of the Board of Directors of the non-profit Center for Responsible Hospitality, helping travelers and hospitality professionals use data to make more informed decisions about their impact on the planet and the communities they travel to and work with. I’m a polyglot at heart, having worked in C++, Java, Python, and some older programming languages that will remain unmentioned. I am a strong believer in using the right tool for the job and take significant pride in creating readable and well tested code. Before my life in finance, I was lucky enough to work with some of the best minds in the world of machine vision and computer graphics and help build tools that were used in the making of groundbreaking visual effects.
