CTO at TypeDB. We\'re focused on building the next-generation database that brings strong typing, powerful modeling, and useful abstractions into the database domain.I spent the last 7 years implementing and defining the database\'s stack - from drivers, to language, to docs. Recently, I led transition of TypeDB from a legacy Java codebase to a modern, high-performance Rust architecture. Graduate of University of Cambridge (BA 1st class/MEng distinction with focus on systems engineering and machine learning). My interests lie at the in the areas of of database theory, compilers, and language design, with an eye on in machine learning, robotics, and embedded systems.
