ABOUT JOSHUA SANNAR

I graduated in March 2012 from Rochester Institute of Technology’s MBA program located in Rochester, New York. I have over 10 years of professional finance experience and over 5 years of retail/customer service with firms as varied as Citigroup and Universal Studios Hollywood. I have held supervisor positions and analytical roles, which required me to understand situations quickly and make critical business decisions. I love to learn about the world around me (business, technology, and science are my favorite subjects) and I am a quick learner. I hold legal entitlement to work for any employer in Canada or the United States. In addition to my career success, I have a deep passion for traveling and have been all over the world. I enjoy experiencing new cultures and exploring places that I have not previously visited. I enjoyed visiting the many different cultural sites and tasting the local food. I am experienced in SAP, AS/400 (IBM), Accellos (HighJump), Oracle accounting and financial software. In addition, I have experience coding within Excel for VBA and Spreadsheet Server (Global Software). Last, but not least, I enjoy learning about new technology and science developments through blogs, news sites, and my own hands-on interaction. My technology passion comes from a very young age, in which I was chosen to compete in a computer science bee at California State University – Fresno for my high school’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter in the California state competitions. Although, I am a novice in computer coding, I have been teaching myself VBA in Excel by looking through macro codes and formulas to understand how they interact within the spreadsheet. My self-taught VBA coding has allowed me to fix errors as they crop up and change formulas as needed.
