ABOUT JOSHUA ROTTENBERG

I graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School, where I focused on international business, trade, and economic law. I am currently a Judicial Law Clerk with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. I passed the Florida Bar in 2025.My legal and business experience spans government enforcement, corporate law, and financial regulation. Before my clerkship, I interned with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division, Fraud Section, in the Market Integrity and Major Frauds Unit, supporting complex fraud investigations and enforcement actions. I also served as a Scholar’s Legal Intern in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement, where I gained hands-on experience with securities regulation and market oversight.Prior to law school, I spent over a decade in business leadership roles across fintech, finance, transportation, and telecommunications. As an account director and manager, I led multi-site teams and specialized in B2B process optimization, compliance, contract negotiation, and strategic client engagement. My experience in risk assessment and data analysis consistently drove operational improvements and revenue growth.I also served as Senior Development Editor for the Business and Finance Law Review, contributing to the publication of Volume Eight. I am passionate about the intersection of corporate law, financial markets, and regulatory enforcement, and I look forward to continuing to apply my legal training and business acumen in a dynamic legal practice.
