About Joshua Razo
I’m a freshman at the University of Oregon majoring in Journalism with a minor in Sports Business. Growing up, I’ve always had a deep passion for sports, communication, and storytelling. That passion led me to KWVA, the University of Oregon’s student-run radio station, where I’ve been able to turn my dream of becoming a play-by-play broadcaster into reality.Through KWVA, I’ve had the opportunity to develop my on-air skills, provide play-by-play and color commentary for live games, and explore other areas of sports media such as writing, production, and social media. These experiences have strengthened my ability to tell stories that connect fans to the action and emotion of the game.In addition to my work at KWVA, I’ve gained valuable experience with Fox Sports Eugene, learning what it takes to broadcast in a professional environment.
