ABOUT S. JOSHUA PEARSON
Joshua is a former NHSMUN Director for the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM) for IMUNA with a demonstrated interest in working to solve the social and humanitarian issues plaguing the global community. He served as President of the Entrepreneurship Club and the Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the Alpha Kappa Psi Beta Upsilon Chapter before graduating from the University of South Carolina with degrees in Political Science and Economics in 2021. Joshua is looking to break into the realm of Internal/Public/International Affairs whether it be through humanitarian efforts, consulting, or government relations. He is skilled in Research, Communication, Time Management, Social Listening, and Public Speaking. Joshua is an exceptional problem solver and focuses on collaboration rather than domination. Having an extensive Model UN and journalism background, Joshua has become a well-rounded writer and speaker. Due to his experiences with Model UN prior to and during college, Joshua seeks to invent and revamp ways to better the lives of all of the individuals that he may impact. The activities and people that he surrounds himself with emphasize the need for a \"worldly view,\" thus he values learning about the world inside and outside of the United States, the problems that people face, and ways to solve the problems.
