About Joshua Orsey
As an Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Florida, I’ve built my college experience around leadership, service, and technical growth. Through my many projects and experiences, I’ve learned how to lead with purpose, coordinate large-scale initiatives, and communicate across teams. My roles as a Florida Cicerone and Senator at UF have strengthened my public speaking and professionalism, while my hands-on work on service projects, as a lifeguard, Ice Hockey player and official, and project director have taught me accountability and adaptability. Every experience, from the pool deck to the engineering lab, has reinforced my drive to solve problems and serve others. I’m now looking to apply that same energy to an engineering co-op or internship where I can learn and grow my professional skills.
