ABOUT JOSHUA NELSON
I’m an education leader, data storyteller, and learning strategist dedicated to helping schools and organizations understand how people learn and how to design systems that help them thrive. With a PhD in STEM Education and over two decades of experience across K–12 and higher education, I bring a rare combination of pedagogical depth, research acumen, and data fluency. My background spans classroom teaching, academic leadership (CAO and Dean-level roles), and consulting for independent schools nationwide. I specialize in turning complex educational data into insight and action, blending statistical analysis, qualitative research, and cognitive theory to improve learning outcomes, organizational strategy, and decision-making. I’m currently exploring opportunities in Academic Leadership, Learning Design & Strategy, Data Science & Analytics, and Education Research, where I can contribute to mission-driven organizations that value innovation, reflection, and impact. I am open to fractional academic leadership roles. I believe that great learning systems are grounded in community, supported by evidence, and guided by curiosity.
