I\'m lucky to do what I love every day — connect with people and learn their stories. Building meaningful relationships is my purpose, and why I’ve found so much joy in recruiting. I’m passionate about creating standout candidate experiences and authentic connections.Here\'s a brief bit about my professional journey:I\'m currently a Senior Technical Recruiter at Blooming Health. I sit on the People Operations team, where I get to lead hiring processes for roles across the org and set up and refine our internal/external processes.Prior to this role, I was a Senior Recruiter at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where I hired for senior roles across the organization as a founding member of the org’s first ever in-house talent acquisition team.Before this, I was a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at VentureWell, hiring across the org and leading internal projects. I joined from Toptal, a hypergrowth tech company, where I recruited across business functions. In between, I helped build the recruiting function at the gaming startup Colonist.io. Earlier in my career, I led a team of recruiters at Teach For America, focusing on HBCU recruitment strategies.Outside of work, I served as an elected school board member in Prince George’s County, MD from 2018–2022. I started my career as a 2014 TFA Corps Member, teaching middle school science in Houston. I\'m a proud Howard University alum and active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
