I am the Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel for SBA Communications, a leading independent owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure (NASDAQ: SBAC) and top real estate investment trust (REIT). I advise the CEO, executive team, board, and stakeholders on material legal and business matters, as well as oversee multiple distinct departments and functions of SBA, including US legal, international legal, legal compliance, corporate legal (corporate governance and finance), M&A, real estate, safety and risk management, corporate affairs (communications, marketing, and government/public affairs), and corporate sustainability. I joined SBA in January 2010, and have served in a variety of legal and business leadership roles across my 15-year tenure, including as Assistant Secretary and Corporate Counsel – Finance and Compliance, Vice President and Associate General Counsel – International, and Senior Vice President – International Legal. As the company’s first General Counsel for the international business unit and current global Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel with oversight for multiple departments and functions (320+ people), I have gained broad exposure to various aspects of SBA’s multinational business, enabling me to serve as a trusted executive and advisor to our CEO while operating as a strategic partner at the intersection of law and business. I leverage sound judgment, calculated risk-taking, and disciplined decision-making in managing challenging and sensitive corporate, legal, and business matters. I am equally passionate about creating strong synergies across the organization to drive increased visibility, strategic impact, and integration with all business units. Prior to joining SBA, I served as a corporate attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, an Am Law 100 firm, in its New York office. I represented commercial and investment banks, top-tier private equity sponsors, and public and private companies in corporate and financing transactions.I obtained my JD from Columbia Law School and my BA in Economics and BS in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Florida. I am a member of the New York Bar and authorized house counsel in Florida.
