ABOUT JOSHUA LITTLE
I am a very knowledgeable industrial engineer with a strong drive for process optimization and continuous improvement. I am also Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified, as well as a Certified Lean Practitioner. Many of my leadership skills come from earning the award of Eagle Scout at the young age of 13. I have a history of bringing new technologies to a process in order to optimize it. Some examples include- Torque controlled tools in assembly- 3D printed fixtures and inspection gauges- 3D printed sand cores and molds in sand casting- Automated degassing, fluxing, and chemistry/grain refiner additions in aluminum castingI also developed a process to utilize a 3D printed object to create a forming tool for hydroforming, vacuum forming, stamping, pressing, as well as layup tooling. The process saves both a substantial amount of time and money for part development and can be quickly used as a production tool. This not only brought about new applications of binder jet based 3D-printing, but also a new way of process development to the forming industry. Some of my skills include manual machining, CNC machining, FARO ScanArm quality control, and forming tool design and manufacture. I am proficient in several software\'s including Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, PolyWorks, Siemens NX, PTC Creo, and Matlab.
