Born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, and of Haitian and Guyanese descent, Joshua Jagmohan is a seasoned hospitality professional with over a decade of experience managing and curating nightlife, bar, and restaurant operations. Joshua is currently the Beverage and Nightlife Manager at Miss Lily’s, overseeing the seamless execution of nightlife programming. Prior to this, he served as the General Manager and Partner at Lovers Rock, a beloved Brooklyn venue known for its expertly curated DJ lineups, dynamic cocktail menus, and signature Caribbean ambiance. Under his leadership, Lovers Rock became a staple in the borough’s nightlife scene, earning recognition in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, and The Infatuation, among others. Throughout his career, Joshua has managed some of New York’s most well-known hospitality spaces, including The Bowery Electric and La Caye, where he not only led operations but also curated standout events, built strong community ties, and ensured the highest standards of service and venue upkeep. His expertise extends to event curation and cocktail program development, making him a sought-after person in the industry.
