About Joshua Bear
I am a patient-centered epileptologist and neuroscientist investigating advanced computational methods in neuroimaging and neurophysiology to improve the lives of children with epilepsy. With a background first in visual communications and computer programming followed by an interdisciplinary Master\'s degree, I am interested in opportunities to employ cross-disciplinary technologies to advance clinical epilepsy care. Over the past few years, I have also been serving as a consultant and principal investigator on several clinical trials related to drug discovery, clinical efficacy, and the development of neurophysiological biomarkers of treatment response. I have found this a highly rewarding experience and am continuing to pursue opportunities in this area.
