ABOUT JOSHUA HARTMAN
I help companies navigate problems at the intersection of intellectual property, competition, and international trade. This includes defending my clients\' IP rights and positions in the U.S. market against unfair competition from abroad, as well as securing access to the U.S. market in the face of incorrect assertions of IP infringement. I do much of this work in Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission, as well as in litigation before U.S. district courts and in proceedings before U.S. Customs & Border Protection. The companies that I assist range from growth-stage to Fortune 500s and compete in industries such as life sciences, cleantech, consumer products, and automotive.
