My role (along with the rest of my team) centers on managing and optimizing enterprise-scale security platforms to ensure the protection and resilience of over endpoints worldwide.Key Responsibilities-Lead the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of owned endpoint protection technologies, providing Tier 3 Security Operations Center (SOC) support-Monitor and analyze security telemetry to detect anomalies, investigate potential threats, and drive timely remediation efforts-Collaborate cross-functionally to close security gaps, remediate outages caused by false-positive flags, and improve overall platform resilience-Identify and resolve misconfigurations in legacy security implementations, restoring full functionality and improving overall platform health- Manage and administrate servers of various Windows and Linux flavors that are part of security platform infrastructure, leveraging Powershell and Python to create automated checks and reporting systems to support governance -Proactively assess infrastructure coverage, recommend architectural improvements, and implement more efficient scanning and monitoring strategies to enhance threat detection and response.Sustainability & Community Engagement-Active member of the Vans Green Working Group (formerly the Vans Sustainability Committee), contributing to initiatives that promote environmental responsibility—from composting and recycling at HQ to exploring sustainable practices across the Vans product lifecycle.
