ABOUT JOSHUA HALL

Beginning in December 2015, Josh accepted a position within the University of Illinois as the Assistant Director of Advancement at the University of Illinois Laboratory High School, recognized as one of the top public high schools in the country. Besides his role to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gift prospects and donors, he also assisted in the creation and implementation of the overall development strategy and plan. Josh joined the College of Fine & Applied Arts at the University of Illinois in October 2019 as the Associate Director of Advancement. In this role, he served the School of Architecture, the Department of Landscape Architecture, and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning in the capacities of major gift fundraising, stewardship, communication, and alumni relations. In January 2023, Josh began his role as Senior Director of Development with the University of Oklahoma Foundation providing service to the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture. In this role, Josh leads the philanthropic strategy and revenue generation for one of the most storied Architecture programs in the country, one that encompasses the divisions of Architecture, Construction Science, Environmental Design, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Regional and City Planning, and Urban Design. His education includes undergraduate and graduate degrees from the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. This educational background, in tandem with his ability to build strong relationships, shaped his professional career of serving and empowering others by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding transformational philanthropy.
