Serve as Chief Negotiator representing the Board of County Commissioners in negotiations with sixteen bargaining units.• Prepare and develop the County’s negotiation strategies that are tailored to each bargaining unit.• Partner with Elected Officials, Senior Leadership, and Department Directors to provide guidance and recommendations in their pursuit of developing a more positive and engaging work environment.• Develop and manage the County’s Labor Relations strategy in accordance with the strategic objectives set by the Board of County Commissioners. • Build and maintain relationships with bargaining unit leadership to advance County objectives.• Design and deliver Labor and Employee Relations training on topics such as communication, workplace culture, and labor relations fundamentals.
