About Joshua Fahey

I’m a systems thinker who gravitates toward technically complex, human-critical infrastructure - and I’ve spent the last decade building functional order in places where none existed. My path has been unconventional by design. I started in the USAF as a crew chief, where operational precision and high-stakes accountability were baseline expectations, not aspirations. I transitioned into software support in 2016, joined an early-stage startup as employee #12, and built two departments from scratch: a customer support organization and an SDR function, eventually leading the SDR team. At VaxCare - a vaccine management and healthcare SaaS platform - I operate as a Technical Project Manager owning a scope that most organizations would split across three or four roles: strategic initiative ownership, enterprise escalation management, IC-level EHR implementation, and cross-functional operations leadership. In practice, that means managing 9 concurrent integration projects, resolving 16+ partner escalations per month across a 1,100+ partner network, and personally standing up approximately one-third of VaxCare’s total partner base over four years. I’ve led enterprise HyperCare cycles for health systems including Grand Island, Norman Regional, Baptist Health, and Windrose - with C-suite-level visibility and formal partner references as outcomes. On the technical side, I implement and troubleshoot integrations across platforms including Athena, eClinicalWorks, Allscripts, AdvancedMD, Touchworks, and six others.I also built the operational infrastructure that didn’t exist when I got here: integration project SOPs, SLA frameworks, stage documentation, a partner vetting process, and a three-tier JIRA escalation framework with supporting runbooks and visual process assets. If you’re solving infrastructure problems in health tech, interoperability, support operations, or platform scaling - I’m interested in that conversation.
