A new role was created for me that combined both Digital Services and Product underwriting to form Customer Delivery. As a result moving the majority of professional services under my leadership to create one of the largest department at Open GI- Responsible for setting and measuring KPI\'s against organisational objectives- Ensuring quality delivery of projects to our insurer partners- Controlling and managing cost budgets- Setting tempo and vision for continuous process improvement- Overseeing continuous quality improvement measured against predictable demand. Grew to 90% right first time on small change demand- Providing detailed board reports on departmental performance.Within this role I have also proactively managed cost budgets whilst continuing meet customer delivery expectations.

When I started my career, I found I used to act what I thought real professionalism looked like. At times I would back away from sharing how I really felt about something, because I was scared about coming across wrong.One day when I decided I was ready to move on from JLR, I stopped trying to manage expectations and was just honest about my views on a project and what the timescales would actually be. Suddenly, the response I got was so positive. I leant a lot about myself in those final few weeks, and how much people truly value honesty and transparency, and how valuable that can be to building trust.Since then, i\'ve taken that approach into leadership, being my authentic self - excitable, passionate, wanting to take risks, and learning as I go has made a huge difference into both my personal success and the teams I work in. I want to lead teams where there is no fear of failure, no fear of repercussions for speaking out, because that positive conflict is what leads to true growth and improvement. I like to focus on getting the data and measures right, so everyone involved can have a conversation on what drives value, and how we can keep adding to it.I\'m fortunate to have a team that buy into that vision, and i\'m proud of the improvements we\'ve been able to deliver at OpenGi. Quicker delivery, better Right First Time, both reducing backlogs and reducing the time it takes to resolve tickets. I\'m excited to see what else we are able to achieve!
