Supervise different units throughout the Ambulatory treatment center • Educate and orientate patients in regards to chemotherapy administration and processes• Orientated and trained new hire’s on institution and department policy and procedure’s. • Patient and nurse liaison • Schedule patient visits, physician appointments, diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments • Assist in maintaining a safe environment for patients, co-workers, and visitors • Transcribe and coordinate physician orders • Communicate pertinent information regarding appointments, scheduling, and necessary preparations to patients, families, physicians, team members, and other patient care areas • Prepare and maintain appointment templates and/or patient records electronically as directed • Handle and process a complex, varied series of documents and situations • Patient advocate for patients and their concerns• Implement workflow and process improvement ideas to management• Coordinate with all of the clinics throughout the hospital to provide a more efficient process for the patients
