Assist the customers with diagnostics, repairs, and orders for their equipment. Reduce down time and speed up production in their mine on sight and reduce down time on equipment.• Assembly and Commission equipment on customer sight with commissioning engineers from Germany, IE: Underground assembly of equipment in the salt mine with Germany engineers.• On call service for break downs around the Great Lakes and Finger Lakes area to include Canada and Louisiana. As a home-based Service and Support Engineer the position requires a high level of personal responsibility.• Assist customers with parts orders, navigating German material, and organization of the information for ease of access and quick responses to critical parts needs.• First point of contact for customers on breakdowns and equipment related issues.• Training Production personnel and mechanics on pre-trip inspections, daily preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance issues, and Preventative Maintenance schedules
