About Joshua Butler

I have recently applied and been accepted to Samford University for the MBA in Sports Business and Data Analytics with the desire to apply analytics to teaching and coaching. My background as an athlete allows me to understand the unique challenges of developing young men into excellent athletes and people. I believe in a multifaceted approach to learning that includes understanding the history of the sport, which informs player development, team-building, and strategy. Additionally, I use analytics and story-telling to convey to each player what their role on the team is.
