Pastoring: I considering being a pastor one of the greatest privileges that God bestows on man. There is nothing more exhilarating that walking through life with people, watching them meet Jesus, surrender to Him and follow him with their entire life. Leading families to “go and make disciples” is something that brings me great joy. Preaching: When I stand on a platform and declare the Gospel of Jesus I feel complete. This is my first and foremost passion in life. I consider myself a student of preaching and pastors. Preaching is something I hold in the highest of regards. I want Jesus to receive all the glory and honor that is due to Him and to make that happen I make the goal of my preaching to make much of Jesus. Missions: “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” - Revelation 7:9-10 I believe this passage to be the end result of our mission’s efforts. Jesus deserves all glory and honor and it is our purpose to introduce people to Him. My heart beats for missions. I believe that mission is the over arching theme of the local church. We exist to glorify God.
