ABOUT JOSHUA BLOW
Hi! I’m a Psychology major with a minor in Biology, currently working toward my bachelor’s degree and planning to attend medical school to become a psychiatrist. I’ve always been fascinated by how the mind works and how mental, emotional, and physical health connect, that curiosity drives everything I do.Right now, I work as a Holistic Life Coach at Her Mind Her Body, where I help clients find balance and build healthier relationships with themselves. Before that, I served as a Lifeguard Captain at the Palm Bay Aquatics Center and taught private swim lessons, experiences that taught me a lot about leadership, patience, and care under pressure.At Howard University, I’m involved in several organizations that push me to grow and lead. I’m a Defense Attorney and Category Leader on the Speech and Debate Team, as well as the Recruitment Chair for the Water Polo Club. Through these roles, I’ve honed my communication, advocacy, and teamwork skills, all of which I know will serve me well in the medical field.I’m passionate about making mental health care more holistic and human-centered, combining science with empathy to help others heal and thrive.
