Represent the authority during inter-authority case transfers and participate in the social work duty rota.Work in partnership with families across settings to develop sustainable family-led plans, applying motivational interviewing and a strengths-based approach. Maintain accurate, detailed records, while embracing opportunities for learning and professional growth. Build strong working relationships with partners and support the operational delivery and transformation of children’s services.Provide supervision to ASYE colleagues through reflective practice and observations, embedding the Family Safeguarding Model. Role model a “think family” approach, exemplifying high standards of practice, consistent record keeping, effective care planning, and early permanence planning. Support team managers, contribute to panels and meetings, and deputise when required, ensuring strong oversight and sound decision-making.Supporting a student social worker.
