With organizations such as City of Alameda Rec and Parks, Alameda Food Bank, Bike Walk Alameda, Drawbridge, Leaparts, Alameda Family Services, LifeSteps, plus several more.• Solely responsible for all public relations duties, which include responding to media inquiries, writing and distributing press releases, developing media kits, pitching stories to journalists, and developing long term PR strategy. • Was selected by Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft (City of Alameda Mayor) to join the City of Alameda COVID Taskforce, duties include aligning messaging in City-wide communications efforts. • Garner favorable public image and awareness through execution of (in person and virtual) community events such as groundbreakings, grand openings, property exhibits, site tours and various other public meetings. • Leading website re-design in coordination with leadership, directors and staff. • Launched agency Ombudsman Program to follow-up on complaints, misunderstandings and grievances that are not addressed by the formal agency processes; documents findings and recommends appropriate resolutions or corrective actions.
