About Josh Tso
I am a hands-on ready to learn business student passionate about Investment Management, Consulting, Investment Banking, and overall helping both people and companies make better decisions. As a personal finance and stock market enthusiast, I started a personal finance \"Stock market 101\" type blog called TheStockSquid. This was a passion project centered around negating the fear that individuals have when beginning their stock market investing journey, and simplifying down easy ways to get started. This ranged from brokers, to indexing, to even big stock market news. I hope to continue to use my personal passion for Finance to make the stock market and personal investing more approachable for everyone. As a current investment associate for the BU Student portion of the Endowment fund (~$1.1 AUM), I have effectively learned the fundamentals of valuation techniques, financial modeling, and stock pitching/position re-evaluation. With my recent Audit Experience at Grant Thornton I understand the ins and outs of financial statements and the auditing process. With my Upcoming experience at Goldman Sachs this summer, I hope to gain valuable skills and fundamentals to thrive in the world of asset management, investment banking, or consulting full time.
