I love buildings. I love that they are all different. each one a prototype. I\'m driven to improve our buildings and the teams that support them.With extensive experience in engineering and a strong background in commercial real estate and property management, I bring remarkable expertise to leading building systems and teams towards success. Additionally, I have valuable experience in data center operations, critical environments, as well as bio-tech and pharmaceutical facilities. There are two aspects that define me: firstly, I take immense pleasure in seeing our team members grow and develop their careers and experiences. Secondly, I am a dedicated rule follower.Currently, I am in my 20th year of engineering management and hold the position of Head of Engineering for the US Property Management division at JLL. Prior to joining JLL, I spent nine years at ABM in the Engineering and Facilities group, where I served as a Subject Matter Expert for critical environments and held the role of National Director. Throughout my career, I have actively contributed to ESG goals, capital planning, identifying opportunities beyond the obvious, and enhancing organizational structure and leadership.I am a degreed Mechanical Engineer and have achieved credentials such as Green Globes Professional (GGP), Facility Management Professional (FMP) and LEED Green Associate. as well as being a Fitwel Ambassador. I have had the privilege of hosting and participating in panel discussions organized by various BOMA chapters. Among these events, two stand out:\"From the Boiler Room to the Board Room\" brought together esteemed professionals from property management and engineering to delve into the secrets of successful teamwork. Another noteworthy event was titled \"Forecasting the Forgotten Few,\" which aimed to equip property teams with knowledge on critical topics that can sometimes be overlooked during budgeting processes.When I have my priorities right, I’m either at a baseball game, on a hike and camping, or spending time with my wife and two daughters.
