Adventurist is an app that connects users with other people in their area who are interested in the same outdoor activities. Our mission is to improve the mental health of our users by empowering them to spend less time on their phones and more time outdoors. After selling RAI and embarking on a multiyear trip around the US and abroad I quickly realized that there was no efficient solution for meeting adventure and activity partners. Everywhere I went I found it difficult to find people to go whitewater kayaking and rock climbing with me and the idea for Adventurist was born. Once the Coronavirus Pandemic hit and I realized that people needed to get off their social media and into the outdoors now more than ever, I decided to put the project in high gear. We have assembled an all-star team of designers and developers to bring the dream of Adventurist to reality. My journey with Adventurist is still in progress and I can\'t wait to provide more to the story as things develop.
