WORK HISTORY
Desk Staff, Climbing Instructor, Camp Leader @Upper Limits Rock Climbing
Maryland Heights, MO, US
At Upper Limits, I work across multiple areas including front desk operations, climbing instruction, pro shop sales, youth programming, and community outreach. I assist members with check-ins, memberships, and customer service, while also teaching top rope and belay classes that emphasize attentiveness and skill development. I lead birthday parties and group events, ensuring a positive and engaging environment for participants. In the pro shop, I provide expert guidance on gear fittings and sales, helping customers select equipment that meets their needs. I also support outreach initiatives by operating portable climbing walls at schools, festivals, and community events, introducing the sport to new audiences. As Camp Leader, I directed youth programming by organizing activities, supervising staff, and fostering both safety and growth in young climbers. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and instructional skills while reinforcing a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and community engagement.

ABOUT JOSH SOSNOFF
I am a service assistant at Cooper\'s Hawk Winery and Restaurants, where I learn from wine specialists and restaurant managers, and apply my previous skills in the dining room, the bar, and the tasting room. I enjoy creating memorable experiences for customers with my warm attitude and enthusiasm for wine. I am also a songleader at Congregation B\'nai Amoona, where I lead and facilitate prayers and sing-alongs for the Jewish community. I work with rabbis, cantors, other musicians, and camp directors to sharpen my singing and playing skills, and to develop my interconnectedness with campers, counselors, and specialists. My passion for music and helping others stems from my own personal journey of self-reflection and self-actualization. After realizing that engineering was not emotionally fulfilling, I decided to pursue further education in music therapy, a field that combines my interests in music, neuroscience, and psychology (along with the application of philosophy, sociology, & history). I am currently enrolled at Saint Louis Community College, and I plan to transfer to a university that offers true insight to how music sustains, creates, and destroys emotions, traumas, & memories. My goal is to change the world with the confounding power of music, as it has changed the world for me, always standing by my side as an integral asset to my fundamental existence. I believe that music can heal, comfort, and inspire people, and I want to share that gift with others. As a songleader, I have a mantra: Life gave me hands for two things. Playing guitar and helping others.
