About Josh Marshall
I believe in protecting and empowering human potential by eliminating preventable friction. I do this by clearing obstacles that slow momentum and limit what people are capable of. When the path is clear, individuals and groups are better positioned to move forward with confidence, effectiveness, and dignity. That belief drives everything I do.I focus on enabling others to move forward more easily and effectively. That can mean creating clarity where things feel complicated, removing obstacles that slow progress, or encouraging forward momentum when it matters most. My goal is to empower people to move forward with confidence. As a Software Engineer, this belief shows up in the quality of the software I build and the way I support the people who rely on it. I design and build backend systems, APIs, and business logic that run reliably at scale, with an emphasis on clean, maintainable code that reduces long-term risk and cost. My core strengths include C#.NET (Core and Framework), SQL, and API architecture, with experience across logistics, supply chain, government, and SaaS environments. It also shows up in how I work with teammates. I am intentional about writing code that is easy to understand, mentoring others to think clearly about design and reliability, and setting teams up for long-term success rather than short-term wins. I bring a calm, analytical approach to problem-solving and thrive in environments that value quality, collaboration, and sustained technical excellence.Recent Highlights: Integrated the Elsa Workflow Engine into an existing Warehouse Management System, enabling the system to run both Elsa and legacy Windows Workflow Foundation workflows while preserving existing logic and enabling future extensibility. Developed a reusable.NET MAUI migration framework that simplified the transition from WinCE applications to modern MAUI-based solutions, successfully porting 20 business transactions and creating a foundation for future migration projects. Built Matrix Delivery, a mobile app (Android and UWP) managing real-time routing and proof-of-delivery, allowing delivery drivers to scan off the truck. Created an ERP-to-WMS integration processor using factory and strategy patterns for flexible API and FTP connectivity, improving configurability and reducing maintenance overhead.Technical Focus:C#.NET Core, SQL, REST APIs, API Architecture, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, MAUI, Xamarin, gRPC, JSON/XML, Workflow Engines, Software Architecture, System IntegrationCurrently open to remote, U.S-based roles.

Matrix Intralogistics is developing the Automation Platform for Continuous Change (APCC), a unified system that merges ERP, WMS, WES, and WCS functionality into one flexible platform. In parallel, I provide consulting and development services for client projects that help fund APCC’s long-term vision.Key Contributions & Achievements.NET 9 API Development: Designed and implemented a modern API layer enabling the WMS to run Elsa Workflows, simplifying authentication through a reusable library adopted across all new projects. MAUI Migration Framework: Collaborated with a client engineer to migrate a WinCE application to.NET MAUI (UWP/Windows). Built a reusable framework that now supports multiple migration projects and successfully ported 20 business transactions. ATOP Pick-to-Light (PTL) Implementation: Took ownership of the testing and QA phase for a client’s PTL module integration. Identified and resolved key code issues without direct hardware access, ensuring the client went live on schedule. ERP–WMS Integration Processor: Developed a configurable processor using factory and strategy patterns to connect ERP systems with WMS via API or FTP, improving flexibility and reducing maintenance overhead. Matrix Delivery App: Created a driver-facing mobile app (Android/UWP) for routing, pickup, and proof-of-delivery management, streamlining end-to-end delivery operations and scanning from the truck. Client & Product Development: Work directly with clients to scope, design, and implement solutions in C#.NET Core/9, SQL, and Angular, balancing immediate client needs with APCC’s strategic platform goals.Tech Stack:C#.NET Core /.NET 9, SQL, Elsa Workflows, Azure DevOps, MAUI, Xamarin, REST APIs, Angular
