ABOUT JOSH L.

I\'m an experienced software professional. With 15 years of industry experience, I\'m passionate about all aspects of software creation: from inception, through specification, design, development, launch, integration and support.15 years ago I have started my career in professional services, and learnt how important a great customer experience is to the overall success of products. I have built support processes and teams, and gained valuable experience talking to end users. I have then spent the last 12 years planning, designing and building great software, as a software engineer, a product manager, an architect and sometimes a combination of all the above.From tiny startups to large international organisations, I have experienced the struggle to solve real customer needs using software. The business, technological and human challenges of delivering value to customers and driving business results. Product and business oriented, while possessing extensive technical knowledge, I am now passionate about bridging the gap between product vision, business case, and the technology which makes it possible. For me, this is about connecting the development team with the customer - getting engineers, designers and analysts excited about solving the customers\' needs - designing and building the right thing, in the right way. Self taught, I am dedicated & motivated. I enjoy working in fast paced, open environments where people work together and focus on results. I believe people do their best work when they deeply understand the problem to solve, and when they enjoy the freedom to simply get on with it.
