   Illumina

   May 2018 — Present

   I work as a software engineer developing applications to run on Illumina\'s newest sequencing instrument platforms. I\'ve been a critical team member supporting the development of software for the newly released iSeq 100 and NextSeq platforms. Currently, I am leading the development of all code related to motors for a new \"universal\" instrument software application whose goal is to support all future Illumina sequencers. As a lead, I keep motor stories groomed and prioritized to aid the Scrum Master and Product Owner, and I act as a subject matter expert who is deeply familiar with all motor code and can create a vision during its development and throughout its ongoing maintenance. The technology used is primarily C# running on.NET Core and using ASP.NET. The front-end applications use Angular with TypeScript, Redux, and npm. For unit testing, most code uses NUnit with Moq, but MSTest and XUnit with Telerik.JustMock are also present.
