I provide strategic leadership to rebuild and strengthen programs and operations after the pandemic. Direct regional, national, and international programs including an Annual Conference, Advancing Indigenous Performance (AIP), and Performing Arts Discovery (PAD). Lead a team of five fulltime staff members and in the first year:• Grew paid memberships by 22 percent YOY.• Increased paid conference registration by 24 percent and conference revenue by 57 percent YOY.• Secured National Endowment for the Arts funding for both the AIP and PAD programs for 2024.• Expanded the PAD program in partnership with the US Department of Commerce with a three-year grant to send US artists and agents on international trade missions and led the first trip to WOMEX in Spain with a delegation of 10 US artists and agents.• Proposed an increase in member dues and significant changes to the membership tier structure to create more access for independent artists, equity between members of different budget sizes, and increase revenue – and won approval by 75 percent of voting members resulting in a new and cheaper option for independent artists and an increase in member dues revenue by an estimated 25 percent.• Launched a strategic planning process in partnership with the Board of Directors.
