About Josh Fjelstad
I’m a “multifaceted” audio expert, communications specialist, political junkie, and entrepreneur.(Does that sound good? How many keywords are you supposed to cram into this thing?)Most of my career has been spent in media and podcasts, from brand and advertising strategy to audio production and operations. I started in copywriting and have moved from one medium to another, trying to not just learn new skills, but also trying to work with people and at companies I’m passionate about.I work as the production coordinator for Panic World, a podcast about how the internet warps our minds, our culture, and eventually reality; manage ads and client relationships for the award-winning Garbage Day newsletter about internet culture; a co-founder of Nominee, an educational platform aimed at bringing younger and more diverse folks into politics via online courses and events; and I’m pursuing a Master of Public Administration at NYU’s Wagner.When I’m not doing all that, I’m playing Pokémon and hosting a podcast about that called EXP. Share, or ideally, rewatching Battlestar Galactica and petting my cat.
