During my 10-week internship with JLL, I spent 5 weeks with the DFW Office Property Management team followed by 5 weeks with the Industrial team, gaining comprehensive experience across both commercial real estate sectors- Processed accounts payable and accounts receivable through Yardi software, coding invoices and managing tenant ledgers while ensuring timely payment processing for multiple properties- Assisted in annual budget preparation and Capital Expenditure Planning (CEP), analyzing property financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities- Generated service contracts and managed vendor relationships through PRISM, ensuring quality assurance and timely completion of maintenance requests across the portfolio- Created and maintained lease abstracts to ensure compliance with lease terms, tracking critical dates and tenant obligations for the property management team- Monitored and updated Certificate of Insurance (COI) records for tenants and vendors through PRISM, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with property requirements- Developed incident management documentation packages and updated emergency response protocols to enhance property safety and security procedures- Maintained stacking plans for office properties, tracking space utilization and tenant placement to optimize leasing strategies and space planning.
