Who are Winder Power?Founded in 1898 under the name RF Winder we specialize in the design, manufacture, testing and installation of Distribution, Power & Grid Transformers right here in the UK. We hold framework contracts with 6 out of the 7 UK DNOs for 33kV & 66kV transformers (up to 60MVA), making us the largest Power Transformer utility supplier in the UK. Now also supplying various ICPs/iDNOs with 132kV transformers up to 120MVA. Our CapabilitiesWe offer a full range of distribution, power and grid transformers, from 6.6kV to 132kV (up to 120MVA), all designed, manufactured, and installed in-house.
