About Josh Cotton

Since 2006, I have overseen the assessment of more than applicants. Using proven techniques in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology I have improved organizational effectiveness for the U.S. Navy, DuPont, Service Master, CSX, Flowserve Corporation, Honeywell and multiple other Fortune 500s and smaller organizations.As of 2020: Best Selling Author.Founder of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit called the Foundation for Veteran Employment Transition Support (Foundation for VETS).Workplace achievements include saving the Navy over $3 million per year and separately, enabling the Navy to launch the first ever personality-based job screening test that is administered aboard ships at sea. Within the first three months at Flowserve, produced the first ever in-house comprehensive attrition report distributed immediately to the the entire C-Suite and Board of Directors to drive positive change. Within the first three months at CSX, earned responsibility for 14 applicant screening assessments impacting applicants and new hires, and more than 50 roles each year.
