My name is Josh Benalcazar, and I am a rising junior in the honors program at Florida State University, pursuing a double major in Political Science and Finance. I am interested in pursuing a Master\'s in Business Administration before law school and am seeking experience in law, administration, and business. As a student leader in FSU\'s Student Government, the Interfraternity Council, and various other registered student organizations on campus, I am a devoted scholar eager to gain experience in case management and the legal system.My experience spans-Leadership, public policy, financial analysis, and data-driven decision-making-Project and event management for 300+ participants-Development in student leadership programs, public speaking, and presentations-Building collaborative relationships and events with stakeholdersOver the two years, I have programmed 11+ events for student organizations with over 7,500 students impacted, managed relationships with campus partners, faculty, and staff, and increased engagement through tailored marketing strategies. Through my student internship within the Department of Student Affairs, I have sharpened my ability to work with diverse teams, coordinate large-scale projects, and deliver significant results under tight deadlines. Within the Florida Department of Management Services, I serve as a Legislative Affairs intern, focused on policy research, stakeholder and constituent group communication, and monitoring the development of legislation within the House of Representatives and Florida Senate.I am eager to apply my leadership, analytical, and financial knowledge in professional settings, specifically within the realm of wealth management, investment analysis, and strategic consulting. I am actively seeking internship opportunities where I can contribute to impactful financial projects while continuing to learn from industry professionals.
