ABOUT JOSH HARRIS

Self-proclaimed unrelenting, informed optimist that loves working with people and having fun getting crap done. Passionate about helping people make meaningful changes to their behaviors so that they move positively along their spectrum of human potential.Consider myself to be pretty good at leading teams, digging into data, using those data for creative solutions, and building a strategic plan to win in a variety of competitive environments.A bit more about me personally, when I die, I hope my friends and family will say three things about me (not in any particular order):1. He made me laugh.2. He was always willing to help me with anything at anytime.3. He increased my capacity to perform in ways that are meaningful to life. How do I accomplish that?1. Embrace fun. We can follow any so-called boring process AND have fun doing it. Fun is a mindset, not forced laughter or immature jokes. It\'s being confident, competent, and silly at the same time. I love volunteering at my kids\' elementary for this very reason, 3rd graders do a great job of being confident, competent, and silly, we can learn from them.2. Be helpful. You can call it abundance, karma, or whatever you want but contributing to the overall good of humanity benefits all of us. For me, it is through focused, principle-based parenting, working with volunteer organizations, being involved in a faith-based community, being a good neighbor, and having a \"help first\" mentality. It\'s doing more listening than talking, it\'s acting more and thinking less.(If we let that moment between thinking and doing grow, we\'ll most likely talk ourselves out of helping.)3. Close the gap. Performance improvement isn\'t always linear but it helps to have a goal and a framework to get there. We all have more that we can give, to others and to ourselves. I\'ll do what I can to get you there, from words of encouragement, to individual development plans, from honest feedback, to compassionate understanding and I\'ll always be there to celebrate you and your progress!I consider myself very lucky to have the life I have, to know the people I know, and to continue doing things I love with people I love more than anything else in this world. We live in a complicated, beautiful world and I am grateful for every moment I have here and I\'m thankful for all of you!
