In my time at Leidos I have had the opportunity to lead global technology projects and technical design for global oil and gas firms, develop energy IT products and services as a product manager, and lead energy and smart grid cyber security projects as practice lead. The great thing about Leidos is that there is always a new challenge and always a new opportunity to investigate matters of national importance, and to contribute in a meaningful way to their improvement. In my current role, I serve as Chief Technology Officer and VP for solution development within Leidos\' Commercial Energy Solutions operation. In this role, I serve as a digital leader both across Leidos and with our energy customer partners. As a digital leader, I work with wide ranging teams to: seek out business challenges worth solving, imagine how to solve those challenges in new and creative ways, and apply data driven and technology-enabled solutions in an agile solution approach. Recent innovation focus areas include: AI/ML for electric power, spatial analytics, LIDAR and Multi-spectral Satellite Imagery, advanced distribution system planning, Digital 5G, and DER/NWA design automation.
