Assist the President and Executive Vice President in overseeing the day to day operations of the company by developing and implementing processes and standard operating procedures that help the company become more efficient.\\\\n• Assist the President, Executive Vice President and CFO evaluate monthly finances to make sure the business in on track and growing, and to assess and address any descrepencies such as cost adjustments on cost of goods or changes in margin by item category.\\\\n• Assess inventory items and levels for thousands of SKUs on a monthly and quarterly basis by running a variety of reports that have resulted in a growth of profit margins\\\\n• Work with vendors on a daily basis to negotiate pricing on projects and stock inventory which has allowed the sales force to grow business and has reduced the companies overhead cost by reducing the cost of goods and growing rebate programs.\\\\n• Assist sales force in quoting projects, managing inventory levels and reorder points for “just in time” warehousing programs for customers like Crate and Barrel, Ikea and RR Donnelley. I also communicate with customers on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis providing inventory reports and End of Month/Year assestments of business growth and detail market trends.\\\\n• Work with our other locations (Memphis, TN Branch) and sister companies (Edge Packaging) in evaluating processes and help them become more efficient.\\\\n• Lead for ERP system upgrade which has allowed us to take our efficiencies to the next level by reassess and implementing new and old processes. I worked with each department (customer service, accounting,purchasing and warehouse) during the upgrade to train and assess new processes and worked closely with IT consultants to make sure the updgrade was being done on time and we focus our attention to the most important change. Now that the upgrade has been implemented I assist all departments with system and process issues.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
