Provides advice, counsel, and interpretation to Operational Management, Human Resources and employees on a broad range of Employee and Labor Relations issues. Developed and executed plans to carry out the objectives of the Labor Relations organization to improve productivity and business results. Participates in union contract negotiations, subcommittees, drafting proposals, strategizing with company negotiations team and business partners, discussions with union at table and subcommittee. Provides advice and interpretation on collective bargaining agreements and administer the contractual grievance and arbitration process, including a third of the board in the arbitration process. Provides advice on discipline and discharge of union-represented employees. Facilitated the process of settlements/ withdraws of several hundred of grievances.
