ABOUT JOSH THORNDIKE
As the VDC Manager at Contra Costa Electric, I oversee the process of developing and coordinating constructable fabrication models for electrical systems on medium to large-scale commercial and industrial projects. With more than 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, I am passionate about implementing new technologies and workflows into the virtual design and prefab efforts, enhancing efficiency, quality, and safety for our clients and partners.I have a strong background in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining various types of electrical systems and equipment, including fire alarm, lighting control, and emergency backup systems. I am also NFPA 70E trained and experienced in challenging and complicated electrical shutdowns, lock-out/tag-out, and energized work practices. I hold a CA State Electrician\'s License and a Journeyman Inside Wireman credential from the IBEW-NECA/NJATC Apprenticeship program. My goal is to leverage my skills and expertise to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions for the electrical construction industry.
