Supervise lab technicians in the DeMarini bat testing lab who utilize air cannons for performance evaluation and prototype R&D- Manage test submittals to 3rd party labs and various association certification tracking for DeMarini bats and Wilson/Evoshield diamond sport batting and catcher helmets, facemasks and chest protectors- Manage QA/QC plans for Wilson and Evoshield protective equipment factories to ensure manufacturing compliance- Act as the main point of contact with associations, governing bodies and research labs to ensure test accuracy and overall compliance for DeMarini bats and Wilson/Evoshield protective products- Stay up to date with test protocols and procedures to ensure samples are evaluated correctly to allow R&D to iterate prototype development quickly- Ensure all lab equipment is running smoothly by performing maintenance and updates on items including air cannons, 3D printers, Instron load frame, drop tower, load cells, modal analysis testing hardware and multiple test fixtures- Design and fabricate novel test fixtures and design experiments/procedures to assist the R&D team research new materials and qualify manufacturing improvements and changes
