My practice focuses on commercial litigation across a range of industries, including aviation and commercial insurance, trade, and employer disputes. I have handled all phases of the litigation process—from pre-suit investigations to managing written and e-discovery, deposing fact witnesses, drafting and arguing pre-trial motions, and preparing for and undergoing trial.My experience spans both domestic and international disputes. I have most recently served as lead associate in several matters involving Lloyd’s of London syndicates’ alleged liability for aircraft leased to Russian airlines by U.S. lessors following Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. In that role, I have managed all aspects of e-discovery and deposition preparation and drafted numerous evidentiary and dispositive motions.I also served as a lead associate in a series of ICDR arbitrations involving a commodity distributor’s liability. I oversaw written discovery, assisted with preparing fact and expert witnesses, and prepared several pre- and post-hearing briefs.Additionally, I have defended employers in a variety of labor and employment matters, including ERISA litigation, EEOC charges, FLSA claims, and non-compete disputes. Most recently, I helped obtain preliminary injunctive relief on federal preemption grounds against an Illinois employment statute affecting the temporary staffing industry.
