   Coordinate with operation personnel to obtain information, define problems and issues, and develop solutions. • Manage the collection, reduction, processing and analysis of surface and underground water balances as related to corporate responsibility and sustainability reporting and long-term projections of mine water management. • Determine the development, storage capacity, and break-out potential of mine pools and develop / optimize strategy associated with environmental controls of mine pool hydrologic systems. • Perform gateroad inspection and rib / roof borehole scoping to support geomechanic engineered solutions developed for ground control. • Manage the collection, reduction, processing and analysis of hydrological and biological monitoring data of streams; evaluate probable hydrologic consequences associated with mine subsidence-induced flow loss and pooling; and determine effectiveness of restoration as a means to minimize environmental impact and operational risk.
