With over 28 years of professional experience in the Information Technology field. I manage and deliver IT infrastructure projects for clients across various industries including both State and Federal government, Large healthcare providers, and International automobile manufacturers. Leveraging my expertise in VMWare, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Automation with Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, O365, Microsoft PowerShell, serval Linux Distributions including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu (and other Debian based distributions) Linux Manjaro and Linux Mint (for Arch based distributions),Microsoft Windows, SAN and Storage experience including Avamar, Isilon, Dell Complement, Nimble, NetApp, Data Domains plush others, I am knowledgeable in storage protocols such as iSCSI and Fiber Channel. I am experienced in almost all system architectures with Cisco UCS and HPE standing out. I posses a deep concept of networking Protocols such as ARP, BGP,DNS,DHCP,OSPF,SMTP and the entire TCP/IP protocol stack. Cybersecurity is a way of life for me. I also supervise and mentored a teams of engineers, ensuring quality and efficiency standards. Example being, I was a Senior VMWare Engineer, Senior Storage Engineer, and Senior Server Engineer for City of Atlanta, where I was responsible for the virtual environment of several critical departments, including the Atlanta City Hall, The main Atlanta Police Department 911 dispatching center, the Public Water Department (SCADA experience), and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. I led and implemented the migration of three physical data centers and there VMWare virtualized environments to AWS, using tools and techniques such as setting up new VCP\'s. Deploying VMWare Cloud foundation Stacks for new Software-defined data center (SDDC\'s), VMware NSX for edge routing, VMWare HCX (Hyper Cloud Extender) for migration of Virtual machines, there workloads, VLANs etc, from the Physical Datacenter\'s to the new SDDC\'s. I leveraged AWS tools such as DataSync, EC2 instances, Storage services from S2 buckets, and S3 Glacier. AWS FSx, and AWS CloudTrail, AWS IAM also played key roles in the project.I am both a passionate problem solver, and major team player in restoring outages, and ensuring data security and availability. I am always eager to learn new technologies and tools, and to collaborate with other professionals and stakeholders. My goal is to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet the needs and expectations of my clients and employers.
