About Josh Messner

In my current role as communications manager at Luther Seminary, I work collaboratively with the Vice President for Seminary Relations and the Public Relations Director to create strategic communications that serve the seminary\'s mission to educate leaders for Christian communities.In my previous role as communications manager at the University of Michigan\'s Center for Global Health Equity, I helped develop strategic communications to engage colleagues in our work, bring faculty, staff, and students together with off-campus partners, and raise awareness of the center’s goal of creating novel solutions to global health challenges. In my role as communications and content strategist in the U-M School of Public Health, I supported the school\'s mission and brand by writing, editing, and managing content for digital and print channels. I provided leadership and project management in planning, writing, and editing for all platforms, including the semi-annual alum magazine Findings.In previous positions, I have worked in production, design, development, acquisitions, and marketing in the academic publishing industry and in communications and marketing in higher education. It has been my privilege to work in highly collegial organizations where I have thrived by working collaboratively with all parties and always with an ear for diverse voices. I am a creative, reliable, team-oriented coworker eager to connect with people and do a good job.
